About Project.
The HEALTH-AI Community Platform supports the HEALTH-AI project by connecting healthcare professionals, educators, and AI experts to strengthen AI literacy and enable structured collaboration in clinical practice.
Through shared resources, training materials, and co-creation activities, the platform helps develop practical, ethical, and clinically relevant AI solutions.

The Challenge
Many clinicians struggle to assess AI capabilities, limitations, and ethical implications, making it difficult to co-create solutions that meet real clinical needs. This gap slows adoption and may compromise patient safety.
Collaboration in health-tech is often limited by the lack of structured platforms, reliance on personal networks, and low AI literacy among healthcare professionals.
Project Activities
HEALTH-AI project activities include developing an adaptive AI curriculum tailored for healthcare professionals; designing interactive and hands-on training modules covering technical, clinical, and ethical aspects of AI; creating 20+ real clinical use cases such as AI-assisted diagnostics and medical imaging applications; establishing a digital co-creation platform to enable structured collaboration between healthcare professionals, engineers, and AI experts; piloting the curriculum through a two-phase training process with continuous feedback and refinement; and disseminating project outcomes through open-access materials, research outputs, and community-based events.

Who will benefit from this project?
Healthcare Professionals & Educators
Doctors, nurses, healthcare managers, researchers, technicians, and vocational education trainers will be the primary beneficiaries of HEALTH-AI. Through an adaptive AI curriculum and hands-on clinical use cases, they will strengthen their AI literacy, ethical awareness, and decision-making skills. Access to the co-creation platform will also enable direct collaboration with AI experts, supporting the practical and responsible integration of AI into clinical practice.
Health & VET Students
Health and vocational education students will gain early exposure to real-world AI applications in healthcare. Interactive training modules, ethical case studies, and clinical scenarios will help them develop critical thinking skills and prepare for future AI-supported healthcare environments. This approach supports smoother transitions from education to professional practice.
Healthcare Institutions & Professional Communities
Healthcare organizations, professional associations, and wider healthcare communities will benefit indirectly from improved AI competence among practitioners. Project outputs such as the HealthAI Ethics Guideline, webinars, and outreach activities will promote best practices, raise awareness, and support responsible AI adoption across healthcare systems.
Policymakers & Society
Policymakers and regulatory stakeholders will gain insights into ethical, clinical, and regulatory considerations of AI in healthcare. By supporting evidence-based decision-making and responsible AI policies, HEALTH-AI contributes to safer, more transparent, and trustworthy AI-driven healthcare solutions, ultimately benefiting patients and society as a whole.
